Hollywood director Daniel Espinosa has announced he will make a movie about the terrorist group PKK’s Syrian wing YPG. The famous actor Jake Gyllenhaal will be starring in the movie, which is expected to whitewash the bloodthirsty terrorist organization PKK.
The movie is an adaptation of the Rolling Stone article, “The Anarchists vs. ISIS” about a “Ragtag team of American volunteers, socialists and outcasts” who are fighting against ISIS in Syria and establish a so called anarchist collective. Some Turkish analysts believe these volunteers are part of an intelligence netwerk aiding the PKK covertly.
According to Hollywoodreporter “Espinosa is set to direct the film adaptation of the Rolling Stone article under his newly formed production banner BOZI alongside Ninestories’ producers Gyllenhaal and Riva Marker. Bold Films chairman Michel Litvak will also produce, and CEO Gary Michael Walters will executive produce”. The Rolling Stone article whitewashing the terrorist PKK for western public opinion was well received by PKK.
Under the pretext of fighting ISIS, PKK garnered support from the west in the form of money and arms. The scandalous movie is expected to romanticize the PKK, like Hollywood did with Rambo in Afghanistan. Famous US actor Jake Gyllenhaal is expected to star in the movie.
PKK is responsible for a decades long armed insurgency in Turkey and is responsible for the death of 40.000 people.
